Stunned, it's completely indefensible.

He'll be lucky to play for his country again for the next year or two.

The best thing about it is he held his teeth afterwards in pain. Like Chiellini was in the wrong for shouldering his choppers.

I burst out laughing when the player ran to the ref showing him his shoulder. LOOOK! LOOOK WHAT HE DID!

It's the kind of behaviour you expect from a wayward toddler. Like maybe 3 or 4 years old at the most.

I've not seen him interviewed much, he's not a Lennie Small type character is he?

The best part was when one of the Uruguay players tried to cover it up again. They're like a bunch of ridiculously rich children.

Anyone else watch the games online via ITV? The quality is fucking atrocious and it cuts out constantly.

I've just missed the 2nd Argentine goal because of it and it's not the first time either. What a piece of shit. :-x

Works fine for me MM, apart from the adverts getting to the action.

So Suarez has got a four month ban from all football related activity. So that is nine international matches and nine Premier League matches. It's about the same as the last ban he got which was 10 games, but this time it includes an international ban as well. Can't help thinking that it should be much longer as he obviously isn't getting the message. He also isn't even allowed to enter a football stadium or train with Liverpool. Liverpool can still sell him though if they choose to.

He was also fined £65,000 which isn't much, but just to put that into perspective Bendtner got fined £80,000 for his silly Paddy Power pants stunt. Illegal advertising worse than assault according to FIFA. :)

Uruguay are appealing against Suarez's ban.

So this will push the suspension back until after the appeal, (which sucks for Liverpool) and if the appeal is found to be frivolous can extend the suspension duration.

He won't be playing in the world cup any more, appeal or no appeal.

Don't Barcelona have a transfer embargo?

Not right now, it is suspended whilst they appeal.
