It was a great game I thought. Barca didn't look at the races and Messi clearly shouldn't have been playing. I think they are starting to see the effect or lack there-of of not having Guardiola coaching the team anymore. They have become too dependant on the little man and look bereft of ideas when he isn't on form. However take nothing away from Bayern who outplayed an outfought Barca and deserved the victory.

Don't forget Barca have had loads of problems with their coach suffering with cancer this year, and not being able to take charge of the team for long spells. It's probably caused a lot of disruption there.

Maybe, but they were still winning games without him a few months ago and at the start of the season. He has been back for a good few weeks now so would have had time to get the team playing how he wanted. He also directed all training sessions while in hospital whilst recuperating. So I don't think it has had that much of an impact on the team. I just think they have lost that spark and a big part of that was down to how Guadiola coached them.

When you lose a final one season and you could pull off a treble in another, that seems to be all the motivation that Bayern needs at the minute. Chelsea are in the Europa final, one more leg for Bayern, if they both win the cups they set up a Supercup that would be a repeat of last year's final - can't wait!

Should be a good match tonight, hard, but one I think will show where we are as a team. Also why on earth are ITV showing Celtic v Barca instead of Napoli v Arsenal. We always seem to get short shrift when it comes to scheduling. Napoli v Arsenal is clearly the more interesting match and also one that I feel more people would be interested in.

Yeah, I really want to watch the Napoli Arsenal match too. I was hoping they would have at least showed it on ITV4 or something but nope.

Not that fussed about watching Celtic.

What a performance, that first half is some of the best football I have seen Arsenal play in years and to think we still have Carzola, Podolski, Chamberlin and Walcott to come back from injury and Wilshire was on the bench. This could finally be the season.

Depends whether Sky or ESPN took it, it's all about rights sharing these days and that's why I was watching Spurs at 5 in the afternoon to offset Russia's time difference.

Shameful. They should be hung by the neck behind the goals to serve as a reminder to others.

Then send them off.

Champions League is moving to BT sport in a 900m deal. They say that they will be making a wide variety of games available free to air, but I doubt they will all be games feature English teams. So that's it for live club football on terrestrial TV.

Holy fuck, what the fucking fuck?! 2-3 at the Allianz after going 2-0 down in 13 minutes!

I drove my bro and cousin down to Manchester airport this morning for the game too. :D
