Hart has been left out of the England squad with Pope getting the final goalkeeping spot. Right decision I think as Hart has had a poor season. Rest of the squad should be announced tomorrow.

Pleasantly surprised by that. Usually England managers are fixated on experience above all else.

That said, none of the remaining keepers fill me with any joy. They all seem a bit suspect in one way or another at the moment.

Awww, no Super Joe. I must say I for one am bitterly disappointed.

With no big Charlie in the squad I guess the lols will have to come from elsewhere this time round. ;)

Not a big surprise as I don't think he has done quite enough to make the squad. I might change that opinion based on whether or not players like Livermore make the final squad.

Allardyce has left Everton and Moyes has left West Ham.

Won't be surprised if Leicester part ways with Puel soon and Watford ditto Gracia in the near future (the latter as he hasn't pulled up any trees while the owners have near enough a revolving door policy in place for managers).

All clubs that deserve to be without managers for the shitty way they have conducted themselves over the past few seasons.

Pardew cant manage them all though. Which will he choose. :D

When I posted earlier, no joke, I was picturing him waiting anxiously by the phone

He's surely due a stint at Everton? It might have to wait until October though, when they've sacked the cool, progressive name from the continent they'll undoubtedly hire and then fire when he doesn't propel them immediately to the top of the table

He's even got the suit for it.

Basically there seems to be about 6 or 7 clubs who feel they should be doing a Burnley each season and being 'best of the rest'. When that doesn't happen, toys get thrown out of the pram.

I'm guessing Puel will also get sacked soon for having the temerity to finish a couple of wins away from 7th.

Seems a bit odd to include six full-backs but only five midfielders (one of which, Lingard, is a forward really).

It's a very functional team. Think we are really lacking any creativity in the middle and it's weird to see Lallana on the stand-by list considering the arguments made against Wilshire. The guy has played less football and has been injured more than Wilshire this season. The less said about Livermore the better.

As he will play three at the back one of those full-backs, Walker, is really a central defender.

I'd rather Lallana stayed at home this summer (and he probably will tbf) and recover fully. Though he's been one of Southgate's main go-to guys when available so guessing that's why he's still in contention.

Taking injuries into account it's hard to say who else could have really been selected, but it's pretty uninspiring stuff.

Kane to claim the Golden Boot. He won't win it, he'll just be claiming it ;)
