Just a thought, katarn, does it make sense if you only predict a shootout winner if you also predict a draw? Seems a bit like hedging your bets otherwise...

I've put some thought into it, have you looked at the point system in the opening post?

The score prediction is still the biggie that gets most of the points. And it's only a small bonus for getting the right penalty shootout winner. Shootouts are a different entity to the main match and I thought deserved a little bonus.

Surely pens is gonna be whoever takes the first penalty most of the time so it's complete luck at this stage to predict?

No, some teams are better at penalties than others and plenty of first takers end up losing. I already know who I'd lean towards for each penalty shootout if it happened, based on certain things...

It's just something extra for a bit of fun. If we're being honest, much of this is all down to luck anyway (extra points for exact scores, exact difference in scorelines, etc). I mean, Edwin's winning after all.

For some extra bonus points, you can provide an 'F' & 'P' with each fixture for first scorers and penalty shootout winners. :D

The games will be tighter than a duck's arse from now on.

But I don't mind if we get some 4-3 thrillers. :D
