Damn you for replying nicely and sensibly to my sulky jibe. :P

Apparently Wigan have given us permission to speak to Martinez.

Martinez wants to go from a club where he'd never get the sack unless they were relegated, to a club where there would be interference over signings and where he'd get the chop in a heartbeat without Chelsea payoff money? He'd best stay where he is and enjoy the rollercoaster for another season.

Management's not the problem with us, sticking our kids out on loan is...still...as usual...

Looking like it is Martinez then. Ho hum.

And now people seem to be saying it's Rodgers and not Martinez. This is exhausting!

Having read up a fair bit about his experience and footballing philosophies, have to say that, if it's down between the two of them, I'm leaning much more towards Rodgers. Still a massive gamble, but I'd feel more confident should he get it.

Reports saying that Harry Redknapp has left Spurs. Blimey, that's a bit out of the blue, isn't it?

Moyes is the bookies' favourite to take over.

Seems a bit odd to me. He's got Spurs playing well and consistently occupying the top 5 places in the PL.

Would a new manager get Spurs finishing ahead of Man utd, city and Arsenal?

I think it's more a case that he was pushed rather than he jumped.

A piece on the Guardian made it sound like him and Levy had been antagonising each other for a while, and there's only ever one winner in situations like that.

If it is Moyes, it will be interesting to see what he can do in a more glamorous job with more money to spend.

Well he wont get that chance if he goes to Spurs.

He will if they sell Modric!
