Yeah, pretty poor once again. The only positive for me was blooding a few of our youngsters. Flanagan, 19-year-old RB, did ok, Jonjo Shelvey came on and already looks a better bet than Adam, and 17-year-old Raheem Sterling came on for the last 10 mins and looked lively. I don't think it would weaken the team to play him over Downing. Let them get more experience in the remainder of this season, it can only do us good in the long-term. Whether we finish 6th or 12th (looking likely we'll be in that range), the difference to us is meaningless really.
