That doesn't narrow it down as much as you'd think ¬_¬

If you do start watching highlights you can save time by skipping Oulten Park.

Racing! The cars are extremely close in performance and Snetterton is a track where the less well developed cars are faster because of the long straights and complicated parity regulations. The grid was a bit mixed up due to qualifying drama and penalties so there was a lot of fighting through the pack in the first two races with some classic touring car mayhem in race three.

To give you an idea of how close it is, at the end of race 1 (twelve laps) the leader managed to pull a massive two second gap over second which was a huge four seconds in front of the chasing pack.

And the cars are genuinely louder than F1.

Watched that live. Was a proper "blimey!" moment.

For anyone that missed loads of the season, the BTCC review is on now, ITV4, to 8pm.

So that was that, caught some of the live races a week ago but didn't realise the championship was decided in one of the races until I caught the highlights this afternoon, great drive and will have to look out for a proper review.

In the meantime, Formula E's back soon so that will bridge the gap if F1 doesn't have long left.
