So's Broad. :D

From 147-1 to 224 all out. Ouch.

3 Ashes series wins in a row, can they make it 4 down under later in the year? Personally, I have a hunch Australia might sneak it this time - if they can keep Harris fit.

Great bowling spell from Broad and yet again despite a poor performance we find a way to win the Test. We might not have the greatest of sides right now and there are a collection of issues that need addressing before the return series in Australia, but it's a great sign that we can still grind out wins from bad positions.

Hmm, seems to be a weird 'dead rubber' selection by England this. They're experimenting a bit it seems.

Go Pieterson go! =D>

Fantastic way to finish the series. Fair play to the Aussies for making a game of the last day, this is great fun!

Oh well, bad light. We only had a chance of 4-0 due to a generous offering from Australia earlier, so this doesn't hurt as much as it would have done otherwise.

Still, bit of a nuisance.

Unbelievable last day's play of a test, the most runs in a final day ever! Over 3 innings too! Shame about the light, but hey-ho, they made a great final day of it when it could have descended into the perfunctory.

The first warm-up match is next week for the next Ashes, with the 1st test a few weeks away. It's come round quick.

The last series in Australia was a surprisingly humiliating thrashing for the Aussies with 3 innings defeats and English batsmen accumulating huge scores at will. But I feel it won't be quite that easy this time.

Although England were the better team in key moments during this summer's series, Australia have a better bowling attack now and could have made more of good situations.

Plus a few English batsmen aren't quite in tip-top form.

Should be a good contest. :D

Yep, decent start by England. If they can keep their heads, could build a nice 1st innings lead.

I've just found out that free highlights are on terrestrial TV - Pick TV from 10pm every night.

cricinfo also has highlights, though I guess if you're on the internet anyway you can get more than that elsewhere.
