Egypt in the top 10! Very funny to see the French down in 21st position.

Haven't Egypt won the last three African Nations or something? I was quite surprised they weren't able to qualify for the World Cup.

Yeah, didn't really follow the African qualification for the WC, but Egypt must've fucked up royally. They'd have been easily the best African nation there had they made it. They swept aside everyone at the ACN, consider that Ghana were their opponents in the final and looked terrifically weak in comparison.

If you're referring to Cassillas then I've always thought he looks a bit dodgy at times.

Casillas has really gone backward in the last couple of seasons. At the same time as Valdes has really come into his own.

Still think Reina would be a better choice than either of them for Spain's number one.

The World Cup 2018/22 voting process is going on today:

I've been strangely indifferent towards the whole thing. I'm sure it would be good for the country to get it, etc, but I'm not as mad for it as many others are.

Out in the early rounds, just like the football team.

Qatar hosting the 2022 World Cup is rather a large shock though.
I still love you.

Didn't really expect us to get very far after all the shit from the English press recently. Could have done without all that stuff, especially Panorama 3 days before the vote.

Quite excited to see Qatar hosting in 2022.

No idea what it's like in Qatar, but I've seen some of the stadia in UAE/Dubai and they look amazing.

No-one will be able to afford to go there and support there teams, mind.

And is Qatar a no-booze country?
