No Inverdale on the BBC team this year to make some inflammatory comments, though. :(

I wouldn't say he was a complete unknown as he was featured last year as well, but still not a high ranked player. What is more incredible perhaps is that this is the fourth year is a row that Nadal has gone out to a player ranked outside the top 50.

Brown straight out in the next round. Always seems to happen with these lowr-ranked players that cause an upset.

Murray v Karlovic today could be a bit good. I might clear my schedule to watch that one.

Karlovic is the fastest server on record and tends to be a serve-volleyer. That vs Murray should indeed be brilliant. Hopefully I can get home to watch the end of it before Federer comes on.

Amazing scene in the Krygios v Gasquet match. In the second set Kyrgios gave up on a game and didn't even bother to try and return serve, never seen anything like it.

Murray used to do that a fair bit in his younger days tbf. Wasn't a very popular move.

He used to sometimes make the odd half hearted attempt to return a ball or two, but never for a full game that I remember and he certainly at least made an attempt at a return. Kyrgios just let three returnable balls go past him.

Didn't see the Kyrgios incident to be fair. Surely there's something in the rules about not even trying?

No idea. The crowd didn't like it though and the commentators couldn't believe it.

I've seen a few players have a game where they have a rest and just return into the net each point or barely make an effort, but not even going for the ball is poor. Don't think there's anything in the rules to say they can't, though, unless it's counted as unsporting behaviour or similar.

EDIT - Actually it appears it may be a code violation:

http://www.itftennis.com/media/195784/195784.pdf

From page 42:

E. BEST EFFORTS
A player shall use his best efforts to win a match when competing in a Grand Slam Tournament. Violation of this section shall subject a player to a fine up to $20,000 for each violation. For purposes of this Rule, the Referee and/or the Chair Umpire shall have the authority to penalise a player in accordance with the Point Penalty Schedule.
