Yeah he has passed his medical so it is just a fee I guess that needs to be sorted. I still don't think one signing is enough, but it's better than nothing.

Apparently Zenit want half of the signing fee. Also heard that the total is £20 mill.

Those Russians really are greedy bastards.

Nah, Russian prices are just inflated generally. They payed £25m for Danny from Spartak Moscow in the summer, a player who would fetch around £10m here.

This forum is getting irritating again btw - biggest match of the season so far yesterday, no discussion, interesting transfer in Robbie Keane, no discussion. Do you actually follow football, or just Arsenal?

Who gives a shit about the 'tards over the way, with their irritating manager and spasticated chairman?

Oh, you mean the Newcastle Sunderland game? It was alright.

I would have discussed it if I'd watched it. No Sky Sports here. :(

Don't really do all my football discussion on internet forums. So I'm sorry if this irritates you. Next time I post something i'll try and find something that interests you.

Spurs are actually confusing me now, surely there are better targets then their old players?

Keane was an awesome bit of business.

Made about £5 million return on him.

Not when you can sign them for minus five million.

Fair point.
Jo leaving Man City is pretty interesting too, been there no time.

I doubt Liverpool even paid [all] that money to them. As for the Jo signing, could be a good one, but they sign a striker who has been struggling to score.
Quaresma to Chelsea though, looks like they hijacked the Spurs bid for him.

Should be better than Malouda; adds another Portuguese to the squad - seven now apparently.
