Fair enough.

These are brilliant Larinson.

Best so far,
"Oh Kasper, whoah, whoh, oh,
Oh Kasper, whoah, whoh, oh,
He stands between our posts,
He's named after a ghost."
Cardiff fans to keeper Kasper Schmeichel.

"15 points who gives a fuck? Super Leeds and we're going.....shit!"
Will be the new Leeds chant.

I made up a chant for Chelsea earlier this year, goes:

"He's Avram Grant
He's got no chant
Avram! Avram!"

Also, I think it would be best for everyone involved for XYZIA to not post in here anymore. It's getting beyond a joke now. To the blogs with you!

Looks like Mark Hughes, Mancini or Scolari are the front runners with DIdier Deschamps as an outsider.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 419889.stm

Chelsea's decision to look more closely at Hughes, Mancini and Scolari "follows a reappraisal by the powers-that-be at Stamford Bridge as to what they feel the new manager needs to do for the club", said Bose.

"The view is Chelsea need to use the appointment to make the club feel popular, if not loved, not merely by their fans but by the public."

Riiiiight. Well they need to get shot of Drogba, a great striker but is universally hated by everyone for being a diving, cheating, whining, petulant twat.

Loved? What other team is loved? I mean I can't see Utd,Arsenal,Barca,Real,Inter or AC being loved by anyone but their own fans...its just the nature of the game.

Well those teams are certainly respected across the world, they are seen as a class apart from the rest. And those teams have earned that respect. Chelsea have tried to buy it, but it doesn't work that way.

Loved is different to being respected though, and Chelsea are still respected in the sense that they're a good team in the end.

I think Man U, Barca, Milan and Real are "loved" to a certain degree -- there's an element of romanticism to those clubs.

I'm not sure if anyone really loves Inter though. They are kinda of like AC Milan's petulant jealous little brother.

Arsenal just play very attractive football.

Really surprised that Rijkaard is not in the running. What with him being available, significantly high profile and a purveyor of attractive, attacking football -- I thought he'd be the obvious choice.

All those managers have employment currently anyway -- Mancini's situation is still unclear . I honestly don't think Mancini is the right man for the job anyway.

If you like that sort of thing.

EDIT: God I'm bored.

BUT HE'S RUBBISH

FFS. He really is the Steve McClaren of Holland. I can't understand why he's still given the reverence that he is. If this year has proved anything, it's that he's tactically inept, has no ability to hold a squad together, is seriously lacking in people-management skills, and is generally a rubbish manager.

I'd agree with that. Barca should be doing far better than they are with the squad they currently have.

The players quite like him though.

Aye but he's won two la liga titles and the champions league. I wouldn't hire him personally.

Like I said before, he'd be a straight upgrade of Avram Grant -- laid back "hands off" sort of manager who leaves the players to it. He's whatever the opposite of a disciplinarian is. Which would suit Chelsea if they want some sort of galactico-esque era.

Which they better not be wanting. In a way, Fergie would be perfect for them.
