MotoGP

Probably only Jacko and myself interested in this but...if anyone saw yesterdays race, how mad was that first corner melee...

And no one was seriously injured (though one was taken away, knocked out, on a stretcher). And that poor Suzuki went straight into the tyre barrier. And then Rossi went on to take the race. Shame about Stoner crashing out, but I'm still amazed that kid is in MotoGP to start with, he's so young!

I'm interested. I'm always up for vehicular carnage. ^_^

Hell i've watched motogp for years. Back when loads of riders had a chance of winning races unlike these days although it has picked up recently, turkey was a good race.

I didn't actually see the start as i wasn't at home but it seemed nasty and i though about 3 people had injuries and were taken to hospital...

MotoGP > F1.

It's really great to watch, mainly because less laps, better crashes, and better vehicles. Not managed to catch a race in a while though, been getting my fill through the fudding excellent XBox game.

Between bikes atm, having recently sold my Triumph Speed Triple:

Thinking about a new purchase soon, although mortgages and other costs preventing it just now. The pic is not of my bike, but the closest I could find online. Mine was, ofc, British racing green.

Nice....

You probably noticed from my shameless pimp in General discussion...but I just got myself a brand new 2006 Honda CBR600F. Which is the mutts nuts after being on a CB250.

I took it down the road today at about 9pm when it was empty, and my god it's so quick. I capped it at 10kph above the limit, but it got there in all of 2 seconds :D First gear when all the way, and I just plopped it into 2nd to smooth it out. I swear I got that "Road stretching before you as your crotch leaps forward" feeling.

It's priceless. But I do commute on it everyday too, and I was really surprised to find it really tolerant of that too. Definately glad I went for the 600F over the RR.

Glad to find another rider out there :)

Aye when you make the move from yor training bike to your first real one it tends to take a few weeks for the grin to come off your face :)

BUT!

I shall be going down to Phillip Island next weekend to watch the aussie MotoGP. So neeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........wooooooooshh......

*exciting crashes*

And so on!
