I've grown tired of the constant gimmicks they keep adding to this which have introduced a larger element of luck. So I doubt I will be playing this year.

Team entered, Ponte FC. I assume all of my players still play football, but I wouldn't know.

Huzzah!

FYI, just so you know, didn't know your name irl then so wasn't sure who that was... but you were my bloody (midtable, never in the running) nemesis last season. Oh the times I shook my fists at the sky seeing you rack up another big score as I was trying to climb the table after my dismal start

Really?! I thought I was doing terrible for most of the year.

I enter the same team in a work league as well - didn't pay enough attention to it last year but the year before I put some effort in and was briefly at the top (out of 25 people). Then ended about 11th.

I had a really bad first few weeks, at one point was prepared to just go full Red Wedding on my team. Clawed my way back into it a bit after that, but that bloody Ponte FC was always there, just doing a little bit better each week

As I said on the last page, it will, in a couple of weeks once the season's started. I was hoping to attract a bit more traffic this way, and Dj's disdain, naturally.

Final standings:

1 Tikka MoSalah paul malone 2245
2 Smokin' Mojo Filters Kenneth Russell 2123
3 PiesinSkies De Spud 2077
4 Ponte FC Peter Marshall 2013
5 Sons of Pitches III Alex Kelly 2001
6 Biscan's Bottlers Zinedine Biscan 1940
7 Bony and Clyne Paul Boland 1932
8 Team Ignored Jamie King 1733
9 FC_Manchego Nick Duffy 1658

I'm not sure who Paul Malone is, so I think (and please correct me if I'm wrong) that MM is this season's top PWF fantasy football manager with his 2nd place finish, closely followed by Wrathbone in 4th place.

I was basically shit all season

Not sure if I'll run it next season, the football forum I used to post on has ceased to exist and only a couple of people here are interested in playing now, but will see. I have another idea that might entice a couple of people back, like Dj, but will make a suggestion on that in a couple of months' time.

Yaassss!

Winner by default, I'll take it. :)

Keep it going Sly, even if it's just a handful of us I think it's worthwhile. We just need to up our cajoling and enticing game.
