Having only been a Spotify premium user for around three months now and being way behind the curve for it as per usual I'm keen to find out what music any of you who use the service are listening to.

The premium upgrade that gives you the higher quality audio that comes with it as I primarily listen to everything on a wireless headset. Shame the service doesn't provide 7.1 audio though!

I don't use it. I buy CDs and rip them to my PC instead because I'm old school.

Or I buy off Bandcamp.

Spotify sucks.

+ 2 Old school
*insert some kind of snarky comment about music quality over streaming services and preferring to own what I listen to*

+3 Old school, sorry Dave.

The "Why aren't you listening to Black Metal?" thread is worth a scour, it should give you some interesting choices for your playlist (it isn't all black metal, don't panic).

+1 for people who enjoy music without cluttering up their living space! ¬_¬

I do like to own albums that I REALLY enjoy, but find it preferable to buy digitally (Google Play being my store of choice). I have one or two physical albums in the house but only obscure stuff that's too esoteric for Google Play.

I have a Spotify premium account. I have a playlist that currently has 217 songs in it. I created it to listen to when I write. I intended it to be played on shuffle, that way it would come up with a different play order every time I listened to it. As for what sort of music is in there, there is a combination of stuff I would always listen to, along with different random artists/tracks I have stumbled across. If I could get the dam playlist as a text file, I would post it.
