That looks really cool, Me. I sometimes find fx and tone tweaking quite annoying, other days I'm right into it, just got to piss about until you find something that suits, I guess.

Aye, mixing and EQing are pretty difficult to get to grips with, I still haven't done much of it myself either. I'm pretty much just recording rough demos for the guys to hear before we eventually record a whole load of tunes, including ones that I haven't written. Two of the lads are much more experienced at production than I am, so I'll maybe learn a thing or two of off them.

I bet watcing ther people did the EQ stuff will help you pick up alot. The loopers helping me dick around with EQ settings, just playing some shit on the looper and messing about with things. This amp lets you record flat too so you can re-amp stuff I think too.

Started building my pedal board, nothing too fancy with plenty of room left.

From left to right (or rather, from bottom to top):

Redwitch Violetta Delay - One of the best sounding delays that I could find for under £100. It has a port for an expression pedal for some sweet oscillation.

Hotone Reverb - Tiny, cheap, and does the job well enough.

MXR Noise clamp - Been using this at practices to cut out unwanted feedback and hisses. Won't be as essential when we start playing live through mic'd amps, but a handy piece of kit nonetheless.

Maxon Overdrive (aka Tubescreamer) - Very cool overdrive pedal that helps to sharpen your tone, can be used to boost, and is great for adding some dirt to your clean channel.

Apologies for the sideway pic.

Image doesn't seem to be working. Pretty sure it's not me too.

I've got a Maxon OD too! Nifty wee thing it is. I'm in the midst of splooging on pedals at the moment so will post a pic when I've got them all set up.

Do you use all your gear for recording or still settling for straight into Pod Farm?

Ah shit, you're right mate. It was fine on my phone. I'll try and change it shortly.

All of my recordings are still fully digital just now, I've been using these for practices and for playing with my housemate's stack, he has a Line 6 DT50 running through a Line 6 2x12 that has great tone. I want to have a decent sounding setup for when we start gigging.

Aye, the Maxon is great!

EDIT: Picture should be working now, changed the hosting site. Click to enlarge, unless you have microscopic vision!

I'm starting guitar lessons soon, £15 for just under an hour which is pretty good. Not entirely sure what to ask to learn about, think I'll start with the usual 'get rid of bad habits' and do something about my shit timing.

I've got a bit of a hard-on for this right now. It's only £634 and comes fully equipped with a lovely Seymour Duncan Nazgul and Sentient.

Much contemplation...

Can't say I like the look of that seven string much. There's something about it that just looks slightly off. Jackson make some lovely guitars though. I trialled one the other week when I bought my pedal and very nearly walked out with it.

Every 7 looks off, its just the nature of the neck making the body look tiny.

Enjoying "learning" via Rocksmith 2014 at the moment.
I was more impressed I remembered how to string the damn thing.....

And no picture of my guitar, it's old, cheap and covered in stickers that 12 year old me found amusing :)

Not sure if "Hail Satan" or "Townies = Shit" is my favourite.
