I love all of Earthquaker's stuff, but if I bought any of them I would literally never get anything productive done ever again. It's bad enough with the gear I already have when I get caught up listening to swells of delay and reverb, Earthquaker pedals would just push me over the edge.

It really is quite something. I've been spending more time finding applications for it in the band setting but I've dabbled with longer delay/reverb settings for some ambient stuff too. It works brilliantly combined with my Dark Star.

Our other guitarist, Mike, has been using the EQD Afterneath for a few years now, it's another gem.

I'd say that anything that gets you lost in that way is worth it, mate. Go for it
