Oops, just realised that I posted the above video in the wrong thread. Oh well.

I've uploaded a nice little quiet piece to sooth your blackened souls. It's just a prototype idea that may eventually evolve into something else if it ever gets used. Either way, I like it and I hope that you guys do too.

Me again.

An ambient tune that I worked on in between the heavy stuff. My intention was to try and do an all guitar, spacey sounding chillout tune that didn't actually sound like guitars...It's intentionally repetitive as it builds up. Listen to it in the bath or something.

Sick of me yet?

This one is a pretty heavy one, weighing in at a rather hefty 9:36 in running time. It's a demo for a possible tune with the band.

Enjoy.

I may have just bought one of these:

It's pretty gnarly. Next up, synthesizer and reverb unit.

Nice!

I've got a loan of one of those Earthquaker Afterneath pedals that I posted a while back. It belongs to the the other guitarist that I play with, he kindly left it with me while he is on holiday.

Awesome, post up some snippets of you playing around with it. I'd get one myself but they seem a little bit too niche to really warrant the cash when I need so much other gear.

Loving this Flashback so far. Not had an enormous amount of time to play around with it but I must have spent a good hour and a half just messing around with volume swells.

I'll try and upload a wee video that I took using my phone of it being played through an acoustic.

I didn't really get much time to play with it that week, which was a bit pish. It's a cool little piece of kit, though, for sure.

Your Flashback sounds nice.

Well, I'll never be able to upload that video of the afterneath pedal that I had as I utterly destroyed the phone that it was on.

Finished a new demo, though. It's a heavy one.

It's also the shortest song that I've written, so far.

Enough useless trivia, have a listen:

Also have a band Soundcloud underway now that we have started tracking for some better demos. The self-titled track is still pretty rough at the moment, and the drums are still programmed until we book time to do proper drum recordings.

Have a look, if you like:

We had our debut gig last night in Dundee. It was an instrumental set as we have yet to finalise a vocalist. It went well enough without too many mistakes, and everything was played a bit faster than usual - seems to happen. I was nervous at the beginning as it was my first ever live performance.

Here's some footage of the show:

Love the synchronised spectacle adjusting! (Like at 1.08). Sounds good, nothing quite like the buzz of playing live is there?
Wouldst thou like to live deliciously?

Haha aye, we've been practicing that for months!

Aw man, it was great fun. Looking forward to getting more on the go now that the ice has been broken.
