All the cool kids know where this is from. And yes, yes I am downloading the album so I can listen to it while I drive. ¬_¬

...love it love it love it! The textures and the layers are just brilliant. I prefer the ~1min longer EP version though (slightly better pacing than the edited down version)

That was fucking fantastic.
IMO :P  :P  :P

Saw Devin Townsend Project last night, was an awesome gig! Did a few Ocean Machine songs, which was nice, and generally strutted around the stage being epic. The man has a real way with the crowd :D
Support was a Finnish group called Turisas, cheesy as fuck but they gave it loads and got the crowd going.

Think he's playing London tonight so anyone going is going to have a great night.

Shirley Manson!

And for something completely different...

Loved it when this song played in Hollow Man and Kevin Bacon sings along! :D

I was at this too. It was phenomenal, even better than when I saw him in Glasgow in March. Looking at his recent setlists, I assumed that we might get 2 or 3 of my favourite songs (Deadhead, Earth Day, Deep Peace, Truth, Life, Bad Devil, Kingdom) but we ended up getting everything except Kingdom. The crowd was brilliant too and Devy himself seemed to really enjoy the Bender ending with everyone up on stage. He hung back for about five minutes afterwards just shaking people's hands and thanking people for coming, which was great to see. Even managed to shake his hand myself :)

Easily one of the best gigs I've been to. Oh, and I bought a Ziltoid glove puppet ^_^

Currently on the train bound for the ULU to see the first of 4 nights of Devin Townsend. Really looking forward to this weekend, especially tonight. Ki <3

My Ziltoid puppet is making an appearance at the Ghost show but no others in case he gets injured.

Sweet. He invites 15 people up on stage at the end of the show so try and make it near the edge of the stage if you can.

Wow, Opeth were dull. The musicianship was excellent but there was no energy at all and the setlist was poor. Large sections of the crowd were just talking to each other during songs, quite a few rather nasty heckles too.
