New Starcadian, baby!

Album of the year right here. It's as if Prince came back as a robot.

Sounds good, but a little too disco for my tastes.
Feels like I've been spoiled after the brutality of that last Perturbator.

To be a complete idiot, I rebought an album 15 year old me loved.

Gosh, the angst.

Also:

Danish nu-indusro-djent Godsmack dudes? Stupid as hell, but they kicked my ass for a cool Summer back in the day.

You can bet I was thrilled to find that the Summoning guys had an industrial project.

It really is just the stranger, more electronic bits of the main band but with the guitars and Lord of the Rings stripped out and replaced with gothic cyberpunk.

In other words: Very yes!

I wish all these industrial bands would put a bit more effort into their production techniques. I love the genre but it really does wind me up when their albums sound like a mess.

Incidentally, I've been listening to the OST from the new Blade Runner a lot lately. It has grown on me quite a lot, I think it might be perfect.

Not going to impress anyone, but I'm enjoying this. Rough and tumble industrial black metal with plenty of "spooky" samples and unpretentiously danceable electronics.

While there's nothing particularly artful or clever about it, it's just a harsh techno-creepy good time. :P

Weird cyber glitch? Sure.

The "wall of unsettling computer noises" approach is surprisingly engaging.
Not even the best track on the album, but the first one I could find. As a whole, it's quite an experience.

Hmmm, nothing on this page has yet moved me in the slightest. Miserable old bastard that I am.

I'm posting old "Nu-Metal" and weird industrial stuff.
Shocked if anyone would be moved by it. :o
