I would show gear but too far into the story and may contain spoilers.

Welcome to the forum, son. Don't worry I have a lot of catching up to do yet and eventually I will take you up on attacking your Fortress as you keep asking and it shall all be mine. Mine I tell you.

So has anyone tried the online pit fights yet? I've been doing pretty well so far.

So the second act complete, and now instead of Talion I seem to be controlling Dani Filth

I thought I was to be honest, felt I had plateau’d at around level 36, but I find that whether fucking around hunting captains, getting betrayed, or hunting out missions I always enjoy my stay.

Dip a toe back in when you have some time mate, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Monolith announce the removal of all in game micro-transactions in July...

“While purchasing Orcs in the Market is more immediate and provides additional player options, we have come to realize that providing this choice risked undermining the heart of our game, the Nemesis System. It allows you to miss out on the awesome player stories you would have otherwise created, and it compromises those same stories even if you don’t buy anything. Simply being aware that they are available for purchase reduces the immersion in the world and takes away from the challenge of building your personal army and your fortresses. In order to fully restore the core promise of the Nemesis System, we’ll be permanently removing Gold, War Chests and the Market from Shadow of War.”

Well that is unexpected but will no doubt please a lot of the games player base.

So they got all the money from the launch window and now they want the good will tail. They also didnt mention anything about rebalancing because just removing them doesn't fix anything. :-k

I must admit my first thought was: ok, so no-one's using them, then? And now they want some positive press for the gesture.

It's sad I've become so cynical about my favourite hobby.

Suppose my thought on it was more positive in that they seem to have drawn a line in the sand on the issue and future games won't have this carry on from the release date. Least that's what I would like to think they wiĺl drive at.

I'm probably being overly optimistic, but maybe the general backlash against this sort of thing (e.g. EA with Battlefront) is actually being felt by these companies in terms of their revenue? I really hope so, I want to get back to the good old days.

Also, I see Prey's son didn't stay on the forum for long. :P

He's that age I guess and doesn't want to be chatting having his dad and crusty mates associated with him :)
