The sad thing is the PS2 versions of Medal of Honor games had more diverse and interesting locations to fight in. Like fighting Vichy French troops in Tunisia or Italians in Sicily. All from the US point of view but at least it was different.

The first couple of CoD games had excellent campaigns set in various WW2 locations. The expansion for 1 took you to Sicily and Kursk, the second game had parts set in Egypt.

Boy, nothing really does beat United Offensive in terms of the campaign and multiplayer. I really think the series peaked with that entry, it was brilliant.

Yep UO was great. Seemed to distil out the best of the thing.
