Having now clocked over 70 hours in Darksiders 2: DE I can't wait to revisit War and a similarly overhauled world. Also I'm loving the name THQ Nordic, I missed saying that name as THQ were once my favourite games publisher.

Darksiders: Warmastered releases on PC on November 29th.

I love Darksiders 1 and 2, they're aesthetics and design are fantastic, but the first game was a bit linear for me to want to replay it with "nicer" graphics. Just give me a third and fourth game with Femine and Pestilence please! OR a game with all four of them together that continues the plot!

How much QTEishness is there in these games? I remember playing the demo for the original way back when and it just seemed to be one long sequence of QTE's, put me right off.

No more QTE-ish than the Batman games (press X to not get hit type of thing).

I also hate QTE's, but Darksiders is pimp awesome fun.

According to Gamestar.de the new Warmastered edition will be free to existing owners of the original Darksiders...

The good news for owners of the original from 2010: Who has the game in the Steam library receives 29 the Warmastered Edition completely free. The new edition simply appears in their own game list. THQ Nordic's representative told us in person.

Thanks for the heads up Prey. Never got that far into the game despite repeated attempts, but will give the remaster a go and see if I get on with it a bit more. Was quite enjoying the sequel, though.
