Space setting "didn't resonate", Activision finally admits.
Which is crazy, as it was one of the best Call of Duties in a good little while. I really enjoyed it.
Of course, I'm saying that as someone who doesn't care about multiplayer and just doesn't get along with the Treyarch games (they just look and
feel wrong).
So, any bets as to where they go from here? I imagine they'll keep on splitting it up. Maybe instead of zombies mode, or whatever they continue to bolt onto the franchise, it's just a full on competitive mode themed around Modern/WW2 weapons. Or the opposite way around. Have the base game grounded with high-tech stuff on the side.
It just seems like they're too far gone down the Titanfall rabbit hole to pull back on parkour jetpack stuff now.
Edit: I forgot, they're already teasing something WW2 themed, right? Should be fun.
