Is it weird that, after considering the last few games out this year, I'm thinking the last hurrah will be Watch_Dogs 2? :o

This has been mentioned before, but I've a soft spot for the first game. One of the few people who seemed to ejoy the look and feel of the game while not being utterly repelled by the dreary, miserable nature of the thing (Or it's "iconic" Ubisoft game design. Or swept up in the downgrade outrage). Don't get me wrong. It was actually pretty damn bleak, and the main guy was repellent... and I'm not sure where I'm even going with this point.

What I am saying is that the fact this one sounds like it's a good time and looks to be reviewing well with people whose opinions I gives a crap about offers some confidence.

Now just to wait and see if the PC port is a howler when it hits two weeks later. :P

I am looking forward to it as well - I also enjoyed the last game. The story was garbage and the protagonist a tool, but if you disregarded that the world, mechanics and missions tended to be a blast.

Really looked forward to the first one but it was very samey to my mind. Story was terrible, gameplay was OK I guess nothing like as good as it was portrayed pre release I felt.

Not getting this second one.

I'm not overly keen on having franchises forced down our throats because Ubisoft decided that it needs to be a success to replace the ailing Assassins Creed series. The first Watch Dogs was god awful and amounted to nothing more than a discount GTA where the hacks just felt like cheat mode. It was so humourless and dull.

If people come back here and say it's the best open world game ever then I'll eat Paddy Ashdown's hat. But if it's just another generic open world action game with a few gimmicks going for it, why bother?

They put this teaser (or is it?) in Watch_Dogs 2, I think it's far more interesting than the game itself

Well, that's me done the stupidest thing possible. Pre-ordered the game digitally.

Now watch as the PC port is a complete howler.

Brave canaries are to be applauded.

Whatever the state of the port, Prey's PC will not run it, of course.

Well youre not wrong as I heard a rumour last night the game doesn't support my CPU ala Mafia III. The same goes for Dishonoured 2. Guess I will just continue enjoying Titanfall 2 instead.

Is your CPU mega old dave? Not expensive to get a decent new one these days I think.

This is out today isn't it? Where is our chirping canary - not lying dead on the floor of his cage I hope...
