As far as i understand it there isn't any form of offline SP or PvE mode in the game.

There are 'raid' type missions you can play with friends which encompass a smaller portion of the map to a maximum of 12 players but you will have other humans with you in that instance (with all the griefing that entails).

The game at present is a PvP focused game. It may change in the future perhaps but that is a big 'it' and not on the Dev's radar at present from what i have read on the official forum alas.

The cynic in me sees that devolving in constantly getting shot in the back by cock bags who want to steal your gear or for the lolz .

What a shame, so promising but I don't play adversarial shooters.

It's a funny one this. I'm not sure what I think of it. The pvp side is OK ish and I could put up with that as long as the remaining gameplay is solid.

Problem for me is that I love tactical shooters - the online FPS crowd with their dolphin diving, aimbots and utter toxicity strip whatever the canvas is and turn every shooter into the same shit in a different engine.

Categorically not for me.

Yea I don't mind some Co-op but was hoping for a PVE like Stalker experience (graphically wise) myself.

Such a stalker feel to that, DayZ also.

This could like the fella says heavily reward camping and general arse play. I think this will live or die on how this game motivates the player to carry on. If its basically very loot orientated then it'll be a more hard core version of something like The Division. I wouldn't be a fan of this if that was the motivation, this pretty much killed The Division for me, aside from finding better loot there was very little motivating me to play the game. Now if we take that dynamic then overlay it within a campy mega intense setting I just don't think it'll be my thing. Russkies will love this though this is totally their thing.

Yep a SP of this would have been great but I'm not into games like the Divsion/DayZ and H1Z1 at all. So disappointing as it looks really realised in how it all moves, actions for opening stuff and visually stunning for a Unity engine game.

indeed. They've knocked a nice looking game out of that engine and it'll suit them well into the future if they are that talented to get it this far.

The AI needs some polish though eh? :)

Am I right in thinking that the game makes no distinction between NPC or real players from the player point of view? Certainly seemed that way from the video.

You are not Jesse Pinkman. You are a Edwin. Be silent.

I've watched a few of his BF1 series videos and he's much much less of an Edwin in those. I don't know why he went full Edwin in this.

Yea I should have given a heads up to mute the video. Could be worse though Snowy, if there was a jacksepticeye video of this and linked it instead
