Release an art render saying you're doing it, they'll go looking fast enough then :)

And I bet that'd actually work. :(

Any way, I thought we already knew who was doing what a week ago?
The one thing that's not been mentioned yet is that there's a survey on the reveal site that asks how interested you are in VR stuff.

If it turns out to be some "VR Experience" tech-demo horseshit, then that's massively disappointing. VR mode for whatever weirdos invest in that stuff, sure, but not the exclusive means to play the game.

They probably just want to see if it is worth putting in some VR support. I don't think you can really make a pure VR game right now unless you are Oculus or Sony. It's too big of a risk.

If it was VR-only, only a handful of people would buy the thing.

You know the worst thing about this? See when it hits kickstarter I will probably drop at least £100 on it. :(

Looks like a budget mid life 360 title.

Yep, I'd still so buy it.

I hope that glossy sheen on everything is removed, but otherwise I think it looks fine. I've never actually played the original (though I watched my brother play it when we were kids), so I'm quite excited to see it get a modern makeover. I considered buying the recent Enhanced Edition, but without that warm, fuzzy feeling of nostalgia, it's simply too ancient looking and sounding for me to properly enjoy.

It's a great game system shock 2, but even though I played it back in the day I don't think I could put my eyes through the strain now. Really hoping this reboot does it justice.

SS2 is still a great game, there's graphics mods that pretty it up a lot.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016- ... comparison

I think it's looking quite good, personally. It does that thing that most remakes of old games do where they give everything high-res versions of the old textures and everything just looks a bit wrong, but I don't think it'll detract too much.
