They've been rounding up the licences of lost PC games, then updating them to run on modern systems. They recently picked up the System Shock licence (hence why System Shock 1 and 2 have shown up for sale again). Seems they're going to make as much use of it as they respectfully can by remaking the first game while outsourcing development for System Shock 3.
It's all quite exciting, so long as expectations are set accordingly. There won't be 2K levels of money behind the game, so don't expect full on Cyberpunk Bioshock.
(These were the same guys who went to try and remaster NOLF, only to find that nobody knew who owned the rights. None of the big companies were willing to pay a clerk to go and check, so the game is as good as lost. Fannies.
