Foooools, you're all fools!

Prey is like the snake in the Garden of Eden, don't fall for his trickery! You're dooming mankind to a mediocrity of games!

You missed us Phil, and what a fucking blast that was. Three of us on, myself, Dave and my mate Peaver and it was spectacular.

Some highlights included:
- Our properly ninja-ing a couple of missions (albeit not first time), with a spectacular drop-off of a money truck by Peaver with Dave and I providing overwatch on the cliff overlooking the base. We were not allowed to be detected, so had to guide him out, strategically sniping the guards as he went.
- A madcap race to escort a high ranking target to an airfield, with enemy vehicles, ground troops and a helo in pursuit, Peaver driving, Dave and I leaning out of the windows laying down LMG fire like there was no tomorrow.
- The hardest fence in the world in an airport. I suggested skydiving before the shortest and most embarassingly lame-arsed bit of piloting I have ever managed!

Fucking superb - hoping to get us all on again at 5PM tomorrow, so there is a spare slot...

Fantastic first session there Snowy bud.

I admit I was slightly apprehensive at first as not only had I not really played much of the game in coop (less than 10 mins in all) but playing alongside someone else I'd never even met and had never played a game with before. Knowing you'd played a lot with him in coop games left me at ease though because if I know how you play I can take a firm guess as to just how someone you play with would play too. I kept getting downed a fair bit at first relying on yourself and Peaver to aid me but I soon got into the swing of things and made an already dynamic duo into an even more dynamic and deadlier trio.

Not long after it felt as though I'd not stopped playing GR coop for as long as I have and we were doing pretty much everything in unison with minimal communication simply because we all know exactly how a game like this should be played. I know my mic sucked and often made it hard to possibly understand what I was saying but I anticipated much of what you guys were doing and just went along with it regardless and I'm happy to say it paid off, mostly. Let's never ever mention that plane take off again though shall we. Dear lord.

It was nice to actually hear some positive things being said about the game while playing as I've read a mountain of shite on it since I first started playing (and falling in love with) GRW and I agree it's time to just ignore all of it and just get the fuck on with getting as much enjoyment out of playing it together as possible. GRW feels like coming full circle in many ways in an IP many have long since written off as being dead and buried. Far from it. Play with the right people and play how it should be played and in the exact same manner you always did when you played as a Ghost in any other outing and it almost feels like slipping right back into a comfortable pair of jeans you thought your newly expanded waist line would no longer deem as possible and boy does it make for a perfect fucking fit.

The funny thing is just how well we seem to have adapted to our roles amidst a fully dynamic open world where literally anything can and often does happen that you simply never had to put up with in any of the previous outings, at least not on this scale. Swapping over to my LMG even after we had completed our mission knowing any second that circling bird of death Unidad chopper was just about to spot us and open fire was as instinctive and natural as anything I've done before and all three of us didn't even bat an eye lid in the process.

While it's a shame Vamp didn't show up (totally unexpected that) I found the three way play style more than adequate to take on everything we attempted and although we had a few retries ie random events and utter fuck ups here and there we walked away from enough completed missions to know we'd done what needed to be done. It felt great I must admit and like many had told me you've not truly experienced the game until you've put some time into playing cooperatively, how right they were.

Looking forward to playing with you guys again tomorrow. The PWF Ghosts are officially back - and better than ever. Cheers.

Yeah I knew you would be fine with Peaver and I, he is one of my oldest mates and the two of us both love some tactical co-op. We always buddy up for such games - played ARMA (loads), Dying Light + expansion, a tonne of L4D 1 and 2, Borderlands 1 & 2, Dead Island etc etc.

Your mic was a little muffled but worked fine, as you said once we got into our groove there was little need for conversation, we tended to chat between actions and just worked beautifully as a unit once the lead started to fly.

Looking forward to Part 2 as well as any footage from last night you may have put together :)
