Bought this ages ago. Haven't played much of it at all maybe 8 hours. It's OK I guess. Might have a go again but it's behind the queue of bf1 and another bash the division.

Really liking the 3v3 mode. Partied up with some pals on voice and we only lost one game out of about 15. The d.va, Reinhardt, Zenyatta combo is just immense when you coordinate over voice.

Makes for a nice change when you're a bit burnt out from the standard game.

Also really loving Sombra too. Tracer is one of my main characters and the two are very similar in their play style, only Sombra has more utility and less outright killing potential.

Actually ventured onto Twitch the other day and watched a bit of this. Glad I didn't splurge any cash, definitely not my cup 'o char. And Twitch too for that matter. Do they have pens of specially trained cunts to spam the side panel with drivel for every channel?

I foolishly bought this during a dry spell it wasn't my thing either really. It's like TF2 but too far up its own arse generally.

It's a shinier spanglier rich man's TF2. So it's up its arse. In poor man's parlance.

Nope, it's just become hugely prevalent where one in every 2 fucking 3v3s has one of the cunts in it. Every time someone even picks Mei, on my or their team I almost instantly want to quit. How can it take mighty bliz so long to fix.

The only good thing is counterpicking Mei and glitching into their glitch and killing and tea bagging them.

In my own personal opinion parlance aside it didn't grip me like TF2 did.

I think it tries too hard with the characters, especially the lore stuff like the videos.

None of that is really prevalent at all in the game though. The characters all have different voicelines, taunts etc to give them some diversity and they are all mechanically quite different. But it all comes together to form a really tight team based shooter first and foremost.

I'm gradually coming around to the idea that because of its faster pacing and stronger character diversity it is actually better than TF2 was in its heyday. Patching all the Ultimates to have 20% longer charge times really helped with the feeling of constantly being taken out by bullshit one shot abilities. It feels much more tactical now, especially if you play with friends in competitive mode or 3v3.
