Played my mates copy, bored after 2 matches and really wanted Hardline back.

The eldest has it. He's never off it.

Although he has played over 100 hours of Dirty Bomb so...

So he tells me. In all honesty I played a little of the beta and didn't think it was so bad.

There's hope for him yet.

Dirty Bomb is up there with Tribes: Ascend and Warframe in terms of great F2p games and I played the beta to death. I tend to see Jay playing it a shit load on my steam friends list.

As for Battlefront that IP is pretty much dead to me now. Never bought it and never will. I'd much rather play something like Titanfall with its completely free of charge DLC additions.

Dirty Bomb is great fun, but unfortunately everything it does I think Overwatch does better (apart from the weapon and character customisation with the cards)
IMO :P  :P  :P

And price ;)

It's also more grounded and less people on walls. It's different.

I bought this a while back on PC for who knows what reason. I think I like the pew pew noises. At least I think I do I havent played it yet. I'm a simple man.

Anyway the season pass for the base game is going for the princely sum of free on consoles just now...

I bought both it and the season pass for a paltry £8 and I don't think I've ever uninstalled a game quicker. Just mind numbingly tedious gameplay that I can already tell they have done something to rectify for the sequel.

Yep, it had absolutely no soul when I played the open beta. Literally felt like I'd got my fill of it within about two hours of playing walker assault on Hoth.

Aw shoosh you guys. Don't ruin it for me before I've played it.

How bad can it be it makes those Star Wars noises and has those sweet, sweet Star Wars screen wipes.

That lasts about 5 minutes and then the actualisation of just how shallow the game is seeps in little by little. Yes it looks and sounds nice but man is it hollow as a tree stump stood all on its lonesome in the middle of an empty woodland. I mean knock yourself out mate. Enjoy! :P

Disney have put multiplayer support back into Battlefront 2 so you can now play it online on Steam. It's currently just £3.19 on GOG if people were interested in picking it up.

I see GAME are charging for PC beta codes for the other Battlefront II...

That's a bit shady imo, but I cant say I'm surprised.
