Isn't this the one with a different person doing Snake's voice?

The port is incredible. I've got it running on some super-sampled resolution and it's still at 60 fps. I think that's made my decision what system I'm getting Phantom Pain for.

Wanted to like the series, just can't be doing with the impenetrable lore and endless endless cutscenes of tedium.

I will be taking my first foray into the world of MGS this Christmas as I am getting the HD collection as a present. I am not expecting anything amazing gameplay wise, but I have always been interested in experiencing the madness of the series. The plan is to work my way through 2,3 and then 4, but I may end up giving up after 2. We shall see.

I think that my problem is that my brain just does not comprehend Japanese stories. I have some mates who love Manga, but for me it simply doesn't make any sense. The MGS series is the same for me.

Get your hands on Twin Snakes and run it in the dolphin emulator. You cant miss the best in the series. (well.... a modernised version of the best in the series)

MGS 1 is a must.

2 was...ok, I guess, but 1 ,3 and 4 is where it's at with MGS.

This port is fantastic. I cannot wait for the full game.
