Did a bit of digging and seems that this might be working OK now. I bought it for less than a fiver with all the DLC on cdkeys. Installed and I'll give it a try tonight. Can't really go wrong for less than a five.

As good as the game is, the car still sucks donkeys.

The car itself or the gameplay revolving round it? Seems OK so far to me though I will agree it doesn't feel very batman when driving around in it.

The gameplay really, I mean the car is no more ridiculous than the tank in the Nolan films.

Handling is a bit iffy at times and I've got it stuck more than once. I do like what they did with the "predator" sections. That was pretty inventive although again, the handling did get in the way at points.

The car section is utter balls, but is far simpler to get through the endless tanky fights in the latter part of the game using M&K than it was on console.

The car stuff is OK it's not brilliant but it's not bothering me either.

This is a great game, about halfway through the main story and I'm loving it. The side quests aren't bad either aside from the usual riddler spam. There are some lovely little touches in it too where batman is clearly struggling with his sanity somewhat what with joker taunting him within his mind. The faces on statues and billboards sometimes are replaced with jokers gurning mug you turn away and its normal again. He's also said some genuinely funny dark things that has me giggling.

My main marker for a good game is simply this: does the game leave me wanting to play more when I have to turn off the pc? The answer is a resounding yes in this game.

Anyone out there that was a fan like me of the other games but held off on this due to the launch issues can rest assured it has been polished to a high shine since then.

Finally completed azrael and riddler side quests yesterday and activated the proper ending. Phew. That riddler stuff wasn't bad but had some hard going.
