Similar also. Played 2 iterations of the series and didn't wholely enjoy either for various reasons. Very unlikely I'll get this.

I loved Blood Money when I played it, but that was years ago. I've not been tempted by any of the follow-ups. I may eventually get this in a future sale, but I've still got shitloads I've bought and never even loaded up, and my free gaming time now is probably the least it's ever been. So will hold off for a fair while longer, at least.

*Stealthy bump*

This is big news: We're making the first location in HITMAN free to download for everyone!

"I'm proud to announce that our first hello as an independent studio is to invite all gamers to play the beginning of HITMAN for free. There is a lot of love out there for HITMAN and with this offering we hope that many more will fall in love with the game. We believe that this is Hitman at its best. So jump in and give a try.” - Hakan Abrak, CEO Io-Interactive.

The ICA Facility will be available as a free download on PS4, Xbox One and PC starting today - and we're extremely excited to see more players try the game. The download includes absolutely everything that we've released for that location; two story missions (including all cut-scenes), two Escalation Contracts, more than 40 challenges, 17 achievements and trophies, plus thousands of player-created missions in Contracts Mode - all of that is now available completely free of charge.

Players who download the ICA Facility for free will be able to keep all of their progress when they upgrade to the full game - plus we've lined up some discounts on the full game to make this a great time to buy. We're talking up to 60% off on some platforms!

If you've already played HITMAN, thank you for supporting us! If you want to help us spread the word, Hitman.com/free is the link to share with friends and family. There are also discounts on the Bonus Episode and Requiem Pack, so take a look at the store to see if there's more Hitman content waiting for you there.

Will certainly pick that up.

Also notice that the full game is currently heavily discounted, to £15.89. Checked CD Keys and Instant Gaming also, but the Steam price is surprisingly cheapest.

I bought the full version of this ages ago, then never managed to finish the Paris level.

I think I ended up just pissing around too much, should probably give it a go again!

I also never finished it, although I really enjoyed what I played. I think that with the levels being so much bigger than the classic Hitman (Contracts & Blood Money) ones, I find the options a bit overwhelming rather than liberating.

Seriously good game though.

I played Blood Money properly for the first time about a year or so ago - it really does still stand up, and is so fun.

The Hitman episodic series was great, although I have yet to finish it. I played about the first half-dozen maps, some of them multiple times to try the different routes to victory, but maybe I burned out a bit on that as I entered a huge new map and just sort of fizzled out with it. It's been a while though and I really should go back and finish it off. It's very well done.

Yeah that's the same as for me Sly, in the older games, as each map was quite contained, each new level was all about solving the puzzle of how best to carry out the kill and escape undetected. The new game's levels are massive by comparison, and that can be daunting when you have just managed to finish the preceding one.

On the flip you have masses of options available to you that the larger maps provide, but it can be daunting.
