Yes. Yes you should :)

Put down another 2 hours earlier and it's just one of those games that you don't want to come away from.

I'll almost certainly get it, after another paycheck or two

4 hours down for me as well, it would be more but between life and my frequent incursions into Ghost Recon Wildlands I haven't had much time (literally logged in yesterday and within 5 seconds had my co-op buddy pop up on Skype, then pop over for a visit, dog walk and pub lunch - day gone).

However I continue to really enjoy myself. I have explored the lobby (central hub) and re-enabled some servers to enable the continuation of the story playback. This necessitated my first spacewalk, which ironically was an atmospheric experience :)

Still a strong vibe of both Bioshock and Half Life, and a great experience so far.

Not really had this on my radar at all to be perfectly honest, but right now I'm sat on the sidelines rubbing my chin interestedly. I'll probably wait for a sale, though, have a few games bought recently that I've barely touched yet.
My face is tired.

Your in for a treat then guys when you do play it! Gets better and better as it goes along and all. Some of the combinations of death and distraction are great fun so far :)

A spoiler below for those that have done Corvinos lab and looking Glass server.

Spoiler: show
If you have been and activated the looking Glass servers in corvinos lab...make sure you watch the videos to the end...you'll see why he wanted a precise scales set for 170grams...well worth the time

Haha by pure chance, when I walked into his office one of the first things I saw was his 'personalised item' and picked it up, then by second pure chance happened to walk past 'the other half of that bit' which automatically gave me the reward without my knowing a damn thing. Made me feel like James Bond when I subsequently read his emails :D

I love how they've littered the place with little stuff like that. Have to admit I'm a little stuck at moment. Spoiler for you Ian I suspect you've gotten to this point.

I need to get a psychoscope to advance the main story I may have missed a tip on where to get one. The lift shafts is down and I need to go through to the G.U.Ts area but can't get into the area without said kit

Picked this up this afternoon and have enjoyed the few hours I have put into it. There is lots to explore and as always with Arkane there is some great environmental story telling.

How "thriller" is? Do they resort to jump scares?

Its nowhere near the level of say dead space jumps scares. Ultimately the things that do it (mimics) are quite easily dealt with a few smashes from the wrench. It isn't all the time either you'll often see them scoot away and catch a glimpse of what they turn into.

It happens enough that you'll be wary of any room you go into but not enough to get annoying (even though I have seen pro media complaining about it they are being dicks with little else to gripe about) . I have learnt to watch for duplicates of items in close proximity to each other like say 2 oxygen cylinders or the like.

The game is much more about exploring the environments and puzzling out obstacles, id label it as a classic thriller sort of game, it feels very much like system shock to me.
