Not interested, based on initial viewing of the presentation. Players launching nukes, no npc humanoid characters, I don't think so.

But an interesting thing was said during the presentation:-

'there will be dozens, not hundreds, of other players in the world when you log in'

Thats a lot of map for just dozens of players!!!

Anyway, I guess November will reveal all.

It would have been an interesting concept five years ago when griefing sims were all the rage. Fallout Battle Royale will drop in 2025.

A little more info from a question and answers session with Todd Howard:-

-There is a questline
-There are no NPCs, excluding robots. Quests can still be given by terminals, holotapes etc.
-PvP is still being tweaked. They don't want it to be griefy but want it to have drama
-You can decide to do PvP; being aggressive or ignoring it
-VATS exists but real-time, not slow-mo
-Fallout 76 will evolve over time, taking feedback into account and interaction with fans
-We love mods, 100% committed. Modding will be present but not at launch.
-Private world will be possible down the line

I had this exact same thought when this was mooted. Bethesda ahead of the curve...

Can't wait to delve into Fallout 76?

Experience what Fallout 76 may be like in the Commonwealth, the place where you belong. No NPCs, L33t griefers stalking you and sharing valuable git gud advice, suxorz randomly nuking you. Yay !

Interesting 40 minute 'making of' documentary for Fallout 76.

Just once I want radiation to turn something into a giant fluffy bunny, instead of the Grand Poobah of all Mirelurks.
