Ok, so the default theme resizes the photos for me, but I fear change so...

Yeah, subsilver2 theme doesn't have image resizing switched on in the forum software. I guess it's something an admin could fix if they wanted to.

I just put up with it because I much prefer it to the default theme overall, same as you Sly. It's not that often people post huge images so it's not a major problem for me.

I just spent half an hour playing around with the CSS code for the theme and it still hasn't worked properly. To be honest, the database has been a total mess for years since I inherited it and I try not to delve into there if I can help it. In this instance I'm really not sure why I can't fix the resizing, it should just be a single line of code but I get the feeling there's something else in there cancelling it out.

I'll look into it at the weekend. -_-

Hope people enjoyed that, I'll admit it was rather shorter than I expected it to be.

I'm going to do another one, maybe not right away (ie: probably not tomorrow), but soon. I was a little surprised at how rarely I seemed to acquire new people. So I'll be starting with a different set of names (I have actually made a list as this thread has progressed), and if I manage to get far enough that I actually get many more people, I'll restart from the top.

One thing I'm adamant I'm going to do next time; if I re-use the name Praise World for the colony, I'm actually going to do something that warrants it. Perhaps the next lot will be missionaries.

Oh, and I'll have a sodding doctor. I sorta expected that the Medicine skill would be handy, but I wasn't expecting 3 of my 4 colonists to get pecked and scratched to death by rabbits and turkeys.
