Definitely, but doesn't it piss you off when people say they are not going to let their lifestyle change as a result? It does me! If I had a multi-million windfall, I would retire instantly and enjoy the rest of my life as I saw fit.

Not change my arse!

Maybe he already lives the lifestyle of a jet-setting champagne millionaire? He's just relieved the game's success means he can make the final payment on his Lear jet.

If I were in his shoes it'd take me twenty years to develop another game as I'd struggle to find time fitting it in between travelling the world and living it up on a beach somewhere.

If I were in his shoes, I'd be paying people to write the next game for me! Call me crazy.

Horse armour is clearly the correct first step.

Outsource the iOS and Android development then buy a Lambo. Maybe not in that order.

I have now played this for as long as I played XCOM 2 (1.75 playthroughs). This evening I shall no doubt exceed it.

Developer has really hit on something quite special here, dare I say even quite unique for the PC, and deserves all the success and plaudits coming his way.

I picked this up the other day and it is strangely compelling! On my first few turns I quickly felt that it wasn’t going to be for me, a bit too cutesy and twee. I am not sure precisely when it got its hooks into me but it certainly has.

I am still in my first spring, but have done some basics – made a couple of veggie patches each armed with a scarecrow, tapped a couple of nearby maple trees for some syrup, explored around 15 levels of the mine, made a furnace, bought a wooden sword, oh the list is endless. Actually it isn’t, that’s about it. I lost the egg festival, and didn’t get a dance at the, erm, flower dance.

Yes, anyhow, fun!

You forgot fishing! It's a little bit of a ballache at first, but once you've grasped the mechanics it gets easier, plus with every level up your 'catching' bar gets bigger to make it easier, while you can eventually craft fishing lures and the like that give particular bonuses.

Also, my recommendation, get the horse asap. You get around sooo much quicker and can as a result pack more in to each day. I went back to start a new farm just cos, and it's amazing how much slower everything is, not just the horse but all the chopping, watering (main farm is fully automated now), how hard it is to fish... so many quality of life upgrades that get introduced gradually. I'm not sure I can go back!

Still working on my first farm, though. Got about half a million in the bank, but no real idea what I should spend most of it on.

I've opened up the mine carts so I can get around the world a bit quicker now. Horses would be nice, but sheep and pigs are my main goal right now.
