Love Inquisitors ever since I read the Eisenhorn and Ravenor books.
Between this and Space Hulk Death wing my 40k boner is at full mast :)

Might be worth mentioning Sega also recently registered Dawnofwar3.com which for my money is the most interesting. Fooking love DoW!

Apparently it was just a re-registering of a domain they've owned since around 2008 or so? So enthusiasm may best be tempered (though I would dearly love another one).

I still don't know why a Mass Effect or Witcher style game hasn't been done yet for the Inquisition - Like Tich I've loved them since Eisenhorn and Ravenor and there's some much lore to plunder it's a no brainer.
IMO :P  :P  :P

At first when I saw aRPG for some reason my mind made the connection with Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale style games and I got really excited. Then I realised it'd probably just be a shitty Diablo clone and my enthusiasm dropped somewhat.

Same company that did Van Helsing aRPG I think? Which was a solid effort so it probably won't be an utter pile of shit.

I think they've gone with the Inquisition because it's one of the few 40k artefacts that work solo lots so fits an aRPG quite well.

Games Workshop, man. They're handing out the licences like sweeties now. Well, I'm still bitter that they took down that solid fan made Space Hulk.
Sure, they came back with their own art and settings, but fake space marines are never as cool.

That the one that was a direct copy of the board game (including the background story stuff), but with the addition of assault cannons instead of flamers if you wanted? That was pretty damn awesome.

I wonder what this is? If found it on my hard drive. Seems to be some kind of freeware board game? :-k

Right, so I totally forgot about this game. There's a lot more info available for it now and suffice to say it looks bloody fantastic.

The way the online works alongside the main story sounds great. So much more interesting than the way Diablo 3 just makes you repeat the same quests and bounties again and again without ever changing.
