I had a joke that there goes the mp side to the game now but that would be if Sean Murray had joined.

Coming to XBone alongside another huge update dubbed No Man’s Sky NEXT.

The Xbone version will support the X, with all the usual gubbins, 4K, HDR and that. Due sometime this year apparently.

Havent played it in ages. May have a quick dabble once the update is out.

Haven't played since its initial release. Did about 6 hours worth. Would take a lot to bring me back.

Same - holy crap did they ever sucker me in on that game! Teach me to believe anything pre-release, I really should know better than that!

Unfortunately I don't have the excuse of blaming pre-release as I didn't read/see anything before. I just liked the idea of aimlessly wondering a galaxy on my own and exploring.

Would be handy if they did a map of where I had been.

Big NEXT update hits next week alongside the Xbox release. It looks and sounds like Hello Games have done some really good stuff to the base game making the exploration more interesting and giving you a lot more to do. I parts of the game when it first came out and these updates have got me interested in trying it out again.

I still occasionally go on the store page and have a look, I never played it and I'll admit I'm still curious about it after all these updates. I think the biggest barrier I have though is that I've not seen it yet at a sale price that for me anyway makes it a no-brainer gamble.

Think I'd reinstall at this point. The NEXT update seems to pull a lot of it into focus.

Fyi if anyone does ever see it hit the £10-ish mark at any point, do shout as I'd pick it up for that.

I really wanted to start again in the game and just potter about on the starting planet.
But
1) To restart meant leaving the game, wiping a file then rejoining and having to sit through an overly long intro everytime.
2) I did this about 14 or 15 times and everytime I found a planet that had some sort of poison or heat or cold which meant all my time was spent hiding/repairing myself. I just wanted a normal planet to start with to play in.
