Warhammer 40k Storm of Vengeance

Postby Mantis » Tue Feb 25, 2014 6:27 pm

Ever get the feeling that there just isn't enough Warhammer games on the market? Well, look no further than another mobile tower defense game to help alleviate your woes!

Described as Warhammer 40 meets Plants vs Zombies, with promises that there won't be any microtransactions. That claim alone is almost enough to make me want to play it to be honest. Plants vs Zombies hardly conjures up the images of a Grimdark universe, but this doesn't look too bad as far as tower defense goes.

Who am I kidding, it looks awful.

Someone should make a turn-based strategy game set in the Warhammer universe.

That would be good. It would be ideal if the developers realised that it's a setting where war happens, constantly, and on a massive scale. The setting could be the liberation of an entire planet, and in the final missions you could access some of the crazyhuge things in the setting like titans.

Wow. Nice to see the licence fell into good hands. #-o

I mean, if they wanted to make a puzzle defense game, they could have at least not made it as cheap looking as possible.
