It could be fun, assuming the off button is sword shaped.

Combat trailer. Seems like they went through a lot of work to get it working properly.

That does look ace, but the success of the combat will largely depend on it not being too fiddly. This is quickly becoming one of my most anticipated games of next year.

30 minutes of beta footage.

Also the PC release might be delayed again as there is pressure on the developers to release all three versions simultaneously and right now the console versions are a bit behind the PC version.

Looks like Skyrim but with a little star in the UI. Not feeling impressed.

It is looking a bit shonky isn't it? Especially considering the hardware requirements. Will wait and see. I've bought a copy already thanks to the Kickstarter. ¬_¬

Another delay, this time into next year. Starting to look a bit ominous for this.

I don't know about ominous - something as crazily ambitious as this was always going to take longer than they initially estimated, and I doubt the game will get cancelled or anything. If they can use that time to get it into better shape then that's cool.

It's more the continuous delays that worry me, when a company keeps thinking they will hit a certain release window and then keeps missing it you can't help but be concerned. Especially when it is a Kickstarter backed project from an unknown developer. Consistent delays would suggest they are struggling with something fundamental within the game.

I'm sure the Kickstarter email said something like "we're sorry for the delays but we want to make sure we bring you the best game we possibly can*"

Ah, the Star Citizen model!

I hear you Dj, I tend to give Kickstarter games a lot more slack for that kind of thing though - with it being tough to judge exactly what you can do with the money you make, and it's usually the studio's first game, etc etc. I would be a lot more annoyed if it was an established dev with a publisher, but then that rarely happens in that situation because the game will just get stuff cut out and slapped on shelves to make a deadline.
