The secret makes the current Secret Paladin stronger as the way you combat that deck currently is to flood the board so in that respect it will help out against decks it is currently weak against.

Also I don't think they are really doing that good a job at avoiding power creep as there were a fair few in TGT and this adventure brings in a few more such as the 0 cost Murloc and the Huge Toad. The one thing the have done right so far is to give the Warrior a couple of good common class cards.

Well there will always be some creep but what I mean is there has been some massive meta change every expansion/card pack release that invalidates everything that worked before it :)

And yeah, I get how that secret is useful to paladins (and the not that useful comment was because I was getting it confused with the new hunter trap, oops!), but at the moment that deck is so strong the last thing it needed was more covering of it's weaknesses.

Yeah I agree, they didn't need another secret, but then to balance it out they get that bizarre Murloc card which looks awful.

Oh the 10 mana "Resurrect all the murlocs" one? Yeah that is a bit odd...I'm looking forward to playing with Entomb, the new Priest removal card, that looks like fun...

The only way that card ends up being good is if you face off against a Shaman playing a Murloc deck.

Picked up the Expansion despite my current feelings regarding Hearthstone. I've really enjoyed the adventures in the past and this one might be the best so far. They have added a lot more flavour to the encounters and there has been some interesting design with regards to the boss battles. My only complaint, other than most the cards will never see play, is that the battles seem a tad too easy. However that might be a symptom of me having played the game for so long.

Anyone else picked it up?

Nah. Think I'm done with HS honestly, haven't fired it up at all since the PWF tourney...

The wife's got it and pretty much feels the same way about it you do Dj. Best one so far, if a little easy.

I've gone over to the dark side! I can't be bothered with grinding out wins again this month to climb the ladder so I've brought out the old Face Hunter.

Face Hunter is too boring so I switched to Dragon Priest. I was doing great until I met a Freeze Mage.

Apparently this week's Tavern Brawl is really slow and boring. The wife hasn't shut up about it since it started.

She still seems to be playing it though. :?

Classic addictive behaviour right there if you ask me.

It is very slow, but I'm not sure I would say it is boring. It requires a certain amount of skill as it is pretty much Arena, but you pick cards on the fly.

Woo Rank 10! Been one win away from 9 a few times but you lose 2 stars at a time at that rank :(
