So its like a WW2 moba? Oh Petroglyph, please fuck off with this Moba crap and do more RTS games, youre so fecking good at them. At least Frank Klepacki is onboard.

That said, I'll probably pledge because theyre still begrudgingly one of my top 3 devs -_-

It doesn't look remotely like a MOBA to me, more like a game built purely around the skirmish mode of an RTS.

To me it looks like a moba with rts sensibilities, like ground control for the f2p moba markets. I like what they are saying but I just want another in the ....at war series!

Poor guys. That's two projects they had to cancel in succession.

Nah, not "poor guys". "Silly guys". They're trying to put this MMO/MOBA/online-only bollocks into RTSes. If they attempted to make a "spiritual successor" to command & conquer (as in, just remake it with a different name), with singleplayer and multiplayer separate, they'd meet their targets and all their stretch goals easily.

End of Nations was a pretty good concept, the gameplay was just boring as hell and lacked character.

I'm not for or against online focused RTS games either way, but it would be nice if they got a couple of decent writers on board and came up with a decent new world with a good story and single player campaign. Single player is a dying breed, hell the genre itself isn't exactly doing so great right now.

It looked like pish anyway so no loss. Anyone know how many successful Kickstarter games actually get completed and published?

It looked like Ground Control WW2, it could have been fun. However, FUCKING UNIVERSE AT WAR 2 YOU TOSSERS!

Poor Klepacki, he keeps writing awesome soundtracks for games that either end up cancelled or in development hell. The End of Nations main theme was brilliant.

I think the Universe At War triple album might be the best ost he's done. It's fantastic!
