Well it's probably over stating the thing but mostly accurate. :)

I've sent you my stuff BTW let me know if you get it.

Got it, he's in Concierge level territory so over $1000.

I got it, thank you for that.

If your friend still hasn't any luck in a refund I do suggest talking Derek Smart as he has helped loads to get there's back. Or this link for a in depth way to get it http://gameranx.com/updates/id/65926/ar ... r-citizen/ covers most countries laws etc as well.

Nice one Lee. That was the link I was after to post here but couldn't find it. That article is particularly useful to those after refunds.

The Gamescom presentation for this was pretty astonishing looking.

If it turns out to be a flop, as many are predicting, I'm going to be heartbroken. I can absolutely understand the pessimism, although I haven't read too far into it. My own experience with the alpha (probably about six months ago) was underwhelming, but that was largely down to it being an incomplete arena shooter and my not having any investment in my ship or mission, which is a fairly substantial part of the game's draw. I can see the potential, but the underlying feeling of none of this ever working as a cohesive whole is inescapable.

There are a lot of people saying that was put together before the show to iron out problems and not played live as demonstrated.

Anyways proof is in the pudding when it hits consumer land.

Yeah; they seemed a little too keen to play up the "oh no, a problem! not in my live demo!" bits. Still, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt until I see evidence to the contrary.

I'm sure this will come as no surprise to anyone, but the Squadron 42 part of the game has been pushed back into 2017.

What exactly is still on track to be out this year?

The magic fix all patch (plus that gubbins shown recently at gamescon) contained within release 3.0 - that's all thats scheduled for this year now. Apparently it'll bring basic professions such as bounty hunting, trading, piracy to the foundation they have now. The Stanton system will be complete with 3.0 ...only 99 more systems to make and fill.

They say 2017 it'll be end of 2017 if that. They won't want to clash with biggies like mass effect answer COD which are doing similar things to SC. There's loads more money they'll need to whale out of people between now and whenever anyway.

Totally sceptical of all this now. As if wasn't sceptical before.
