So the expansion is called Legion, features the return of the Burning Legion. Level 110 cap and new Demon Hunter class.

Also

Each class spec will get an artifact weapon which has it's own levelling abilities and customisable graphics.
Each class has it's own Order, with a unique and seperate "hall" that adds to class identity.
IMO :P  :P  :P

Because applying boots to their arses once wasn't enough.
Perhaps last time was too soon ¬¬

Also brace for Illlidan, Ilidan, Illádan, I-li-dan and all the other variations that the unimaginative hordes will come up with.
Warm up that /spit and /facepalm macro ;)

Subscriber numbers have dropped again to 5.5m and Blizzard have announced that they will no longer be giving out the number of subscribers in earnings calls anymore. They say they have taken this decision because "...there are other metrics that are better indicators of the overall Blizzard business performance..." or in layman's terms "We are sick of seeing news stories about the fall in subscriber numbers". You can bet that as soon as the next expansion comes out they will be crowing about how many subscribers WoW has again.

Its so weird everyone trying to say "Ha! Look at your crappy sub figures!" as if Bliz are thinking "wish we didnt make that flop of a game....".

Eve seems to be hemorrhaging players a bit more these days. Will be interesting to see which lasts longer, Eve already has a year on WoW. F2P will give a massive boost to WoW but at the same time CCP is going crazy with Eve development now properly dedicated to it. It will also be interesting to see what happens to Iceland if CCP go bust....

Are they going to offer a new exclusive mount called The Flogged-tae-fuck Dead Horse?

Nope, it's a cow you milk to death and then upgrade to the flogged horse.

I'll believe anything is possible with Blizz by now.

Except the dance studio, presumably

The only thing I miss about WoW is the hilarity of the community, finding out the guy that thinks doing 10k DPS in a raid as a hunter is acceptable is a middle aged alcoholic who recently got divorced is just golden. Unfortunately I don't think the off chance of that happening justifies reactivating my account and buying expansions. Mist of Pandaria was a bloody joke. Even the monk class was a let-down.

So, a game has retained half of it's user base after 10 years of persistent play?

That's not too bad. There's always going to be attrition.

So, a friend and I are working through some of the old content beginning with the BC raids - Cringeworthy commentary ahoy! I'm pretty proud of the editing and effects given it's my first time doing something from start to finish! :)

Meh. I've pretty much lost all interest in WoW now. The content in Warlords was some of the best that the game has ever had, but it still plays the same, and that gameplay style is now completely boring for me. The PvE content poses no real challenge, and I was two-shotting just about every non-elite mob with my hunter.

Still, I'm glad they're including another character boost; I was expecting that to be a one-time thing at the start of Warlords. If I do decide to play, I will at least be able to pick whichever class I want.
