It's good to see the backers get some extra little bits of info on the game that the rest aint privy too

If your a backer then head on over to the http://forums.uberent.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=60 and visit the backers lounge (mind to log in/register with your backing details) for some little snibbets of info.

I really really like the art style they've got going on. Definitely strikes me as one of those minimalist styles that will still look good a few years after release.

I like how there making the scale more important this time to help with "OH fuck me this is going to hit me hard" from just it's size as in supcom T1-T3 were nearly all in the same size besides the Experimentals. Art Style is excellent though as you know it means thousands of the feckers running loose over planets etc and still looking good without trying to have NASA's top performance server room to run it :P

Think it might be the Alpha access rather than the beta as I get that as part of my KS backing and all I've heard of is the Alpha.

Yeah, it was around the minimum backing amount via KS to get that access too. Pricey.

Double the price of a retail pc game? That's a lot of pressure on the company to get it right.

As someone that has played the Alpha and had a laugh with it . Bugs and all there on the right track to make the game the fans have been wanting.

Those mocking the price, think for a second they made it $90 on Kickstarter to allow you access into Alpha testing. You honestly think offering that for less would have went down those that backed kickstarter?

And you still get the same items for that price as those that backed Kickstarter

Early Access Includes:
Game Key: Access the game now, during the Beta period and after Planetary Annihilation releases.

Theta Commander: Commanders are at the center of your faction in PA. The Theta commander is a unique shell design only available to those who purchase the game in Early Access or pre-purchase the title at a later date. It is a distinguishing symbol of their your support.

Soundtrack: The PA Soundtrack is the game’s score by Howard Mostrom and recorded by a live orchestra. It will be yours via digital download when the game is released.

Desktop Wallpaper: This is the official full release Planetary Annihilation wallpaper and will come in a variety of resolutions for you to choose. (Design to be finalized by release.)
Digital Artbook: From early concept sketches to full renders, this is a compilation of the art and design that went into PA.
