Wasteland 2

Postby Judge Rabbi » Fri Sep 07, 2012 2:11 pm

Is it me or is there no thread for Wasteland 2?

Some first footage! Tech demo, only a minute long but who cares? ISOMETRIC VIEWPOINTS!

For those who backed the game you should have received the vision document detailing story and other stuffs.

I could have sworn I made a thread about Wasteland 2 when it was first announced by RPS. I am eager to see more of it though as I can't get enough wasteland settings :)

I sank soooo many hours into the original, then found that one of my (5.25 inch floppy) discs was corrupt. I cried.

Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics are available for free on GoG at the moment. They will be taken off GoG next year.
I've completely forgot about the Beta. When I went to check my backer rewards I found out that I had pledged $75! I have spent about 30 minutes with the game and it feels pretty much like Fallout. If a Fallout veteran plays this game everything seems to be where you'd expect it to be.
Visuals are nice and the dialogue is plentiful and detailed. The UI could do with some tinkering here and there and there are some temporary icons that look out of place but i'd assume it would all be polished to a great standard on final release. Overall looking pretty good.
