To be fair they did introduce the Commonwealth and the Institute (MIT) with one of the quests in Fallout 3 and some of the DLC's and they can produce androids that pass for human so it has plenty of possibilities

They'll never have the budget for a proper TV show and The Walking Dead is pretty much the only show that's ever done post-apocalypticness justice.

Personally I also enjoyed Survivors, the BBC series (the recent one with Max Beesley in it, not the 1970's original). Sadly I was not in the majority - they canned the 3rd series based on the viewing figures and 'other considerations'.

Worth a look if you haven't seen it.

I did see that, and it started off well but then they introduced secret scary companies and all that bollocks and it just lost it's way. Plus there wasn't really any one central baddie what with everyone being dead. Rather than a plague it felt more like people had decided to live their lives at 5AM on a Sunday morning in summer.

In America though that would be November 12th 2013, as they have to have their dates backwards because we have ours the logical way...

There's quite a bit to suggest it's real, quite a lot to suggest fake. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

As most have pointed out, it's highly unlikely this game isn't in development in some form or other, unless Bethesda have decided they don't like making money through games anymore, they are not Valve.
