I'll buy it when the price drops, not paying £40 for a PC game in this day and age.

Doesn't sound like it really holds a candle to the first game, which is a shame. Saw it coming though after spending a fair bit of time with the MP Beta, it's just not as enjoyable as the original.

Definitely thinking of getting it. Loved CoH.

I kind of share Me's view. I want the game, but not for £40.

That deal? The temptation I feel suggests that £25 may have been my limit.

This is a game a load of us could play together. Truly titanic eastern front battles.

Very tempted at that price and I did love the original, but I have so much else to play right now :S

I might get this after payday, but then there's also Rising Storm tempting me.

Not worth full price though. It's basically just a polished CoH DLC with a new interface.

Bought it over the weekend. It's Company of Heroes tweaked a bit and with an Eastern Front theme. I'd be surprised if any CoH fan disliked it.

Unfortunately, one of the changes made is a DLC strategy that I fear is going to get worse. Remember how CoH had that commander thing going on? That's still there and for £2 a pop you can buy more options for it. I'm actually not sure if I can build Tigers with the commanders in the base game. Or even those that can be bought on the cheap. There are currently 10 options for sale, but six are in the too-costly Collector's Edition upgrade only. This disappoints because I nerd out when it comes to armour and particularly like the boxy brutality of most of the WWII German tanks, especially the Tiger.

Sorry, please replace most of that last sentence with "because there's an odd specialisation system in the game that mentions them and it feels like an advert for DLC to see the ability to improve a unit that I'm not sure I can even access right now".

I haven't gone far enough to judge whether Mojo is right about it not being worth full price. Even if it is, I think I'd have to recommend waiting for the inevitable complete pack containing all the options.

Well I have bought it. I am not bothered about competitive online play so all the commander DLC bollocks doesn't bother me so much. I am up for playing with mates though, so if anyone fancies a game (I usually prefer co-op cause I'm rubbish ¬_¬) then let me know. Would be cool to get a load of us playing.
